Rev. Timothy L. Hall, M. Div.
Pastor Tim Hall has served as Senior Pastor of Camp Pinckney Baptist Church, Folkston, since 2011. He holds degrees from Florida Baptist Theological College (B.A.) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M. Div.), and has pastored churches in Alabama, Texas and West Virginia. A native of Patterson, GA, Pastor Hall is married to the love of his life, Sherri. They are blessed with two children (Samantha and Jacob) and four grandchildren (Carley May, Case Auldridge, Callie Auldridge, and James Hall).
Pastor Hall is a man who loves the Word of God and seeks to proclaim its truths in a personal and practical way. His greatest desire is to lead Camp Pinckney to become a church that studies the Word of God and lives out its truth.
Sunday School Director
Rev. Sam Eason Jr., M.R.E.
Sam was born again at the age of 12 years old. In 1998 He realized God was calling him to go to Seminary. After spending much time in prayer, he went to and graduated from Jacksonville Baptist Seminary with a Master's degree in Religious Education in 2004. From 2003 until 2011 he served as mission's director at Buford Grove Baptist Church where he taught a mission's class. Also, while serving at Buford Grove Baptist Church, God opened many opportunities for him to go and work in the mission's field along with other missionaries.
Beginning in 2000, Sam served as a volunteer at D. Ray James Prison where he went and shared God's word with inmates on a weekly basis. In 2010, God opened a door for Sam to become Chaplain in this same prison. He now ministers at this same prison to over 2500 inmates from countries throughout the world. Each day his job consists from handling many different religious beliefs, counseling people and preaching God's word.
In January 2012, God lead Sam back to Camp Pinckney Baptist Church where he serves as Sunday School Director. His favorite scripture is Matthew 6:33. "But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. His passion in life is to minister to people, encourage others and help everyone understand the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is so thankful for the gift of teaching and hopes to always be a blessing to others.
Sam realizes how truly blessed he is. He understands that God could have chosen anyone, but chose him, to work for the kingdom of God. Sam has one daughter Samantha who lives in Thomasville, Georgia.
Brother Tommy began his position of Minister of Music in September of 2016 at Camp Pinckney Baptist Church.
He has served in various churches from Tenn., West Virginia and Georgia since his Ordination on November 22 1987 at Patterson Baptist Church in Patterson Georgia.
Tommy comes with his wife Jana L. Callahan Youmans and his daughter Joy E. Youmans.
Director of Children's Ministry
Sharon has attended Camp Pinckney since 2011 and started managing our children's ministry beginning June of 2013. She is a native of Kingsland/St. Marys area and has lived in this area all of her life. Sharon accepted the Lord as her Savior at age 9 at First Baptist Church of Kingsland. She has extensive knowledge in managing children as she has been working with children's programs for 50 years.
Sharon holds several certificates for teaching and working with children from the Southern Baptist Convention. Her desire is that all children know and love God with all their being. All children are different and have unique ways, that is what makes children so special to her. Sharon previously worked with children's ministry programs at First Baptist Church in St. Marys, Point Peter Baptist Church in St. Marys, and First Baptist Church of Kingsland. She has also served on many committees, led Vacation Bible School, and directed children's ministries. Sharon's favorite Bible verse is: Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart."
Sharon and her husband, Tommy have been married for 50 years and live just outside of Kingsland. They have two children, Cyndy Horne and Dr. Thomas Woods, Jr. and four grandchildren, Morgan and her husband Kenneth Ballew; Aubry Horne; Wyatt and Tate Woods.
Sherri has a love for children and seeks to teach them the Love of God at the earliest ages of their lives beginning in the nursery.
